Role: Xstore DeveloperLocation: St Louis,MO(Hybrid)Job Type: C2C or W2 We are seeking an experienced XStore Developer to support and enhance our retail store technology platform. This role will focus on Oracle XStore Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions that support inventory management, sales transactions, device integrations, and store operations across a large retail environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing, customizing, configuring, and supporting Oracle XStore applications while partnering closely with architecture, business, QA, and operations teams to deliver high-quality retail solutions.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, modify, enhance, and maintain Oracle XStore-based applications and integrations supporting retail inventory management, in-store sales, customer transactions, and operational processes.</li><li>Design and implement XStore customizations, configurations, extensions, UI enhancements, locale changes, and integrations to meet evolving business requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with Solution Architects, Application Architects, and technical leads to create high-level and detailed design documentation supporting software development initiatives.</li><li>Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and development teams to deliver features and enhancements utilizing Agile development methodologies.</li><li>Support POS deployments, device configurations, environment setup, and application releases across development, QA, UAT, training, disaster recovery, and production environments.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to XStore applications, Oracle databases, payment processing, store devices, and third-party integrations.</li><li>Work closely with Production Support and QA teams to investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.</li><li>Develop and maintain integrations between XStore and enterprise systems including inventory, order management, customer, payment, and reporting platforms.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, testing activities, deployment planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, support runbooks, and operational knowledge artifacts.</li><li>Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability within a high-volume retail environment.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of hands-on experience with the Oracle XStore Suite, including:</li><li>XStore</li><li>XAdmin</li><li>XCenter</li><li>XServices</li><li>XEnvironment</li><li>XMobile</li><li>Tablet solutions</li><li>Experience with XStore version 23.x.</li><li>Strong experience with:</li><li>XStore customizations and configurations</li><li>UI modifications and enhancements</li><li>Locale and regional configurations</li><li>POS deployments and upgrades</li><li>Device configurations and integrations</li><li>Data mapping and transformation</li><li>Debugging and production support</li><li>Database troubleshooting and issue resolution</li><li>Experience integrating payment solutions through EFTLink or AJB frameworks with third-party providers such as:</li><li>FreedomPay</li><li>SixPay</li><li>Tender Retail</li><li>Strong experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.</li><li>Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.</li><li>Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with modern web application development technologies:</li><li>React</li><li>TypeScript</li><li>JavaScript</li><li>HTML5</li><li>CSS3</li><li>Bootstrap</li><li>Experience with Java-based backend development:</li><li>Spring Boot</li><li>Spring MVC</li><li>Spring Data</li><li>Spring Transaction Management</li><li>Hibernate</li><li>Java REST Services</li><li>Jackson</li><li>Gson</li><li>Experience integrating retail POS systems with inventory, order management, CRM, or eCommerce platforms.</li><li>Experience supporting large-scale retail operations with distributed store environments.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.</li></ul>Desired Skills<ul><li>Deep understanding of retail store operations, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.</li><li>Experience supporting mission-critical applications in a fast-paced production environment.</li><li>Ability to balance new feature development with ongoing production support responsibilities.</li></ul> Thanks & RegardsNaveen VulupalaSenior Account Manager & Client Relations Email: naveen@hiretechservices.com
