Warehouse Associate – Order Picking & Freight

We are looking for a Full-Time Freight Warehouse Associate with strong order picking accuracy and palletizing experience to join our warehouse team. This role focuses on manually picking customer orders from pick sheets, verifying accuracy, palletizing freight shipments, and preparing orders for transport.

Accuracy is extremely important in this position and is rewarded through a performance-based incentive program.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse order picking, freight handling, shipping preparation, and pallet building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and verify customer orders using manual pick sheets
  • Ensure high order accuracy and quality control during the picking process
  • Palletize and secure freight shipments for safe transport
  • Wrap, strap, and stage pallets for shipment
  • Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment daily
  • Use sit-down and stand-up forklifts when needed
  • Build shipping crates using power tools when required
  • Load freight and assist customers with loading large items into vehicles
  • Assist with assembly and delivery preparation of grills and furniture
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly (required)
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Valid driver’s license (required)
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with order picking, pick/pack operations, or freight handling
  • Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred Experience

  • Order picking and pick sheet verification
  • Freight palletizing and pallet building
  • Shipping and receiving operations
  • Warehouse logistics or fulfillment center work
  • Experience using pallet jacks or forklifts
