Technical Analyst will be part of a Professional Services project team that implements some of FIS Securities Finance products (Loanet, Smart Loan, SMART Seg, S3).
The project team will consist of a Project Manager, a Business Analyst, and a Technical Analyst. The Technical Analyst will be in charge of working on the technical aspects of the implementation.
Tasks assigned to the Technical Analyst include:
Gathering technical requirements of the implementation from client
Documenting technical requirements
Assisting the FIS Network team to set up connectivity between the client and FIS servers
Working with the FIS Infrastructure team to procure and set up servers for application installation
Configuring the application and database according to business requirements
Setting up interfaces for MQ and file delivery
Detailing go-live runbooks to for production turnovers
Batch monitoring
Responding to abends in batch processing
Performing production turnovers
Supporting production turnovers on evenings and weekends
Required
Highly experienced in SQL
Linux experience
Exposure to shell scripting languages (korn/bash/etc.)
Experience with HPE Nonstop TACL or other Mainframe Interfaces
Competency in general networking (Linux/Windows)
Exposure to general MQ administration (fundamental components of MQ connection/server/channels)
Competency in managing SFTP setup/administration
Experience with Terminal Emulator Software (Crystal Point OutsideView or similar)
Night/Weekend work is expected, 12-15 engagements per year
Experience with UC4 Job Scheduling Tool
Experience with COBOL
Nice to have:
