About the position
As the Senior Specialist of Retail Programs Strategy and Operations, you will support the execution of retail sales and operational strategies that drive business performance across Best Buy stores. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to support retail initiatives, operational processes, and employee-facing programs that improve both the customer and employee experience. You’ll help bring retail strategies to life through strong operational execution, collaboration, and problem-solving. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while influencing execution across multiple business partners. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team, and the recruiter or hiring manager will provide additional details during the hiring process.
Responsibilities
Execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational responsibilities for Retail Programs
Support retail program strategies, tools, and operational processes
Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches and initiatives
Monitor retail feedback and identify operational improvement opportunities
Support reporting, documentation, and execution of retail program initiatives
Requirements
2+ years of experience in retail, sales, operations, or business
1+ years of retail supervisory or management experience
1+ years of experience working with vendors or external partners
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and business partners
Nice-to-haves
1+ years of experience supporting business financial management, reporting, or P&L responsibilities
6+ months or more of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience supporting cross-functional projects or initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience improving operational processes or retail execution
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
