SQL Developer/Data Analyst

You will manage data conversion processes and extract actionable insights from large datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing data sources and analyze required conversion steps.
  • Profile source data by domain to prepare quality profiles and mitigation plans.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL scripts, code, and queries for data translation and reporting.
  • Execute ETL processes to convert and manipulate data into required formats.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure accurate resolution.
  • Provide post-conversion support and recommendations for process improvements.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience writing data conversion logic in Java, SQL, Python, Linux Shell Script, Perl, or Windows PowerShell.
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting, including queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Experience using Python, R, or SQL to manipulate large datasets and draw insights.
  • Ability to extract information from large volumes of data to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience visualizing and presenting data to stakeholders using tools like SAS, Tableau, or QlikSense.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

  • Master's degree in a related field.
