Position Details Department: Corporate Employment Type: Full Time Location: Overland Park, KS Key Responsibilities Provide frontline support to internal teams and vendor partners for multifamily housing management systems. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, integration challenges, and system errors in a timely and professional manner. Deliver specialized support for Screening, Insurance, Payment Processing, and Revenue Management modules. Monitor and engage recurring issues or system outages to appropriate internal or vendor resources. Software Systems Expertise & Knowledge Management Demonstrate proficiency in multifamily housing software platforms, including Yardi Suite (Voyager 8, CrmIQ/ChatIQ, Aspire, RentCafe), and related applications. Maintain and update user documentation, including FAQs, guides, tips, and reference materials to support end-users. Serve as a resource for best practices and workflow optimization within software platforms. Training Support & Development Administer the Learning Management System, including assigning courses, tracking progress, reporting training metrics, and updating content. Create training assessments, practicums, and testing materials to support software education programs. Evaluate user comprehension through training surveys, usage data, and performance metrics. Conduct Multifamily Workshops and facilitate training sessions for company events as needed. Collaborate with the team to support training series, system updates, and educational initiatives. Policy, Procedures & Operational Support. Maintain broad knowledge of multifamily housing policies, procedures, and operational workflows. Ensure software usage aligns with company policies, compliance requirements, and standardized processes. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes and enhance system-driven efficiencies. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Knowledge of real estate principles and multifamily property operations. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development, performance management, and continuous improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences and learners. Strong presentation and facilitation skills for leading engaging training sessions, workshops, and meetings using interactive and multimedia techniques. Ability to work independently while exercising discretion, professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in various learning methodologies, including e‑learning, instructor‑led training, and blended learning approaches. Ability to conduct needs assessments and develop customized training and development plans aligned with organizational objectives and individual learning needs. Proficiency in designing and implementing performance improvement plans to enhance individual and team effectiveness. Ability to provide impactful coaching, mentoring, and feedback to support professional growth and skill development. Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical skills, including the ability to identify training or operational challenges and proactively implement solutions. High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong numerical aptitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn and effectively use property management and enterprise systems (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, MRI). Familiarity with leasing platforms and market analytics tools (e.g., CoStar, VTS). Understanding of operational policies, procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Knowledge of basic economic and accounting principles and financial reporting practices. Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and commitment to consistent attendance and dependability. Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations and changing business needs. Driving is an essential function of the position. Ability to communicate in English when working with clients or coworkers; additional languages may be used when preferred by all parties. Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Required Work Experience Minimum number of years: 2 years of related experience preferred. Property Management (commercial and/or residential) favored. Industry experience and proficiency with relevant software systems favored. Certifications and Licenses Valid driver license legally allowing driving for work purposes during working hours. Valid automobile insurance when operating a vehicle for business purposes. Any other licenses/certifications required by governing agencies - otherwise, none. Continuing Education Courses Only those required to maintain government agency certification or licensing. Completion of applicable Company training programs throughout employment. Working Conditions Majority of time spent in an office environment or on‑site at residential communities. Optional remote work on Fridays, subject to business needs and performance. In‑person, regular, and predictable attendance is essential to the role. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for emergencies or special events. Occasional out‑of‑town travel for industry conferences, training, and professional development opportunities. Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds from floor to waist level. Ability to occasionally lift up to 5 pounds from floor to shoulder height. Ability to occasionally carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to occasionally perform horizontal pushing and pulling with up to 15 pounds of force. Ability to occasionally climb steps or curbs of approximately 8–10 inches. Ability to occasionally bend at the waist. Ability to frequently flex the neck and occasionally rotate the neck. Ability to maintain constant hand‑eye coordination. Ability to perform frequent fine motor tasks (e.g., typing, paperwork, key handling). Ability to occasionally walk throughout the community or office area. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
