Branch Behavioral Health Services (Branch BHS) is seeking a qualified contract-based Medical Assistant to join our growing team and support providers in delivering exceptional virtual psychiatric and behavioral health care. Position Virtual Medical Assistant (Independent Contractor) Type 1099 Contract Location 100% Remote Schedule Flexible (part-time hours, Monday–Friday) Qualifications • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) • 5 + years of experience in behavioral or mental health preferred • Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., SimplePractice, CharmHealth, or similar) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Reliable internet connection and HIPAA-compliant remote setup • Two professional references required. • Criminal background check dated within the last six months required prior to onboarding. • Applicants must be able to complete all onboarding requirements within the specified timeframe. • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and independent follow-through are essential.
