HUB Office Furniture Inc. is a fast‑growing, design‑driven commercial furniture company, and we’re looking for a high‑performing Project Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

As a Project Assistant, you play a key role in ensuring furniture projects are executed smoothly from concept to completion. You’ll support furniture sales orders and project delivery while working closely with our internal team, vendor partners, contractors, customer service representatives, and clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.

This is a full‑time position (37.5 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with projects from initial client meetings through furniture specification, pricing, presentations, and quotes
  • Work directly with clients on space planning, design concepts, and finish selections
  • Develop and review product specifications, double‑checking details against plans and preparing order entries using electronic specification programs
  • Understand project scope, product offerings, and manufacturers to ensure client vision and functional needs are met
  • Serve as a point of contact for dealer activities, services, and order coordination, working closely with the project team
  • Act as a liaison between clients and manufacturers, always maintaining a people‑first approach
  • Support the organization and upkeep of the HUB Sample Library
  • Assist with identifying and tracking project opportunities within the local market
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

What We’re Looking For

You must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, and you bring:
  • Strong time‑management skills — you’re highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Outstanding customer service skills — you communicate clearly, anticipate client needs, and take pride in being reliable and responsive
  • Confidence under pressure — you enjoy working toward deadlines and managing your workload effectively
  • Creativity and intuition — you can “read between the lines,” think differently, and find smart solutions to support both clients and the team
  • Experience in the furniture or design industry—or a strong interest in both
Bonus Points For
  • Experience with CAD, CET, Revit, or other design/specification software
