Production and Warehouse Associate

We are not able to provide visa sponsorship for this role.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Scope:</strong> The Production and Retail Warehouse Associate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining Imagine Exhibitions’ Production and Retail warehouses in Atlanta and Dalton, GA, starting each workday at one of these locations with a typical 8-5 work day. This role will maintain systems for organization, storage, and inventory management, applying established processes for shipping, receiving, retail order fulfillment, and warehouse logistics. The position will support Imagine’s retail department by accurately managing inventory, including UPCs, SKUs, and carton counts; receiving and checking in shipments; maintaining inventory records in Excel and Google Sheets; and fulfilling online orders through picking, packing, and mailing merchandise. In support of production operations, this role will also prepare, stage, and load trucks for deliveries, transfers, and exhibition-related logistics. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Utilize established systems and procedures for general warehouse operations, including interdepartmental communication regarding receipt of product, sorting and categorizing product, product valuation, and inventory tracking.</li><li>Preserve and utilize systems for shipping and receiving at the warehouse, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.</li><li>Maintain systems for warehouse storage and organization, including labeling, shelving, and layout for both Production and Retail inventory.</li><li>Prepare, stage, and load trucks for deliveries, transfers, and exhibition-related logistics, ensuring loads are properly packed and secured.</li><li>Review and complete tasks assigned on the warehouse task list, updated by the Senior Production Manager and Production Coordinator; check items daily and complete them in a timely manner based on assigned priority.</li><li>Identify when additional labor is required, schedule and coordinate that support, and manage the team while work is being completed.</li><li>Support retail operations by understanding and using UPCs, SKUs, and carton counts; receiving and checking in shipments; and maintaining accurate inventory records in Excel and Google Sheets.</li><li>Fulfill online and retail orders by picking, packing, and mailing merchandise, and properly building pallets for transport when needed.</li><li>Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with internal teams, and onsite exhibition team regarding inventory status, shipments, and scheduling.</li><li>Attend weekly virtual meetings on time and participate actively, providing updates on warehouse, production, and retail activities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Willingness to work a flexible schedule, potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays based on exhibition and shipping needs.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization in a fast-paced warehouse environment.</li><li>5 or more years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, retail fulfillment, or a related field.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills, including talking with venues, collaborating with internal teams, and managing a crew.</li><li>Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Highly developed problem-solving skills and persistence when working through logistical, maintenance, or inventory challenges.</li><li>Results-oriented work ethic with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and follow-through.</li><li>Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Dropbox, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar).</li><li>Valid driver’s license, maintained in good standing.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude with advanced shop and carpentry skills for building, repairing, and modifying exhibition components and fixtures.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills with a general knowledge of maintenance, warehouse logistics, and pallet building.</li><li>Ability to operate a forklift safely and willingness to obtain and maintain forklift certification through company-provided training.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical & Mental Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.</li><li>Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation, including adequate vision and hearing.</li><li>Proficiency in using computers and standard office equipment.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.</li><li>Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to move equipment or materials.</li><li>Ability to remain in a stationary position and to move about as needed throughout the workday.</li><li>Ability to perform computer-based tasks requiring manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation.</li><li>Ability to travel as business needs require.</li><li>This position is primarily onsite.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
