Overview We are partnered with an established clinical research site network seeking a Principal Investigator to support clinical trial activities in Nashville, Tennessee. The site partners with leading pharmaceutical sponsors and CROs to conduct Phase II–IV industry-sponsored studies and is looking to expand investigator coverage in their Nashville site.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Principal Investigator for assigned clinical trials
  • Provide medical oversight to ensure subject safety and protocol compliance
  • Review and approve study-related documentation
  • Conduct protocol-required visits and assessments
  • Supervise research staff and delegated duties
  • Ensure adherence to GCP, FDA regulations, and site SOPs
  • Participate in sponsor meetings, SIVs, and monitoring visits
  • Support recruitment and retention strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
  • MD or DO required
  • Active and unrestricted Tennessee medical license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Board certification or board eligible preferred
  • Prior clinical research experience as a PI or Sub-I preferred
  • Open to physicians across any therapeutic area
  • Strong interest in clinical research

  • GCP training
  • Ability to commit consistent time to research
