This role bridges the gap between sales and project delivery by managing bid processes, developing proposals, identifying risks, and ensuring a seamless transition from project pursuit to execution. </span></h3> <div> <h3 data-end="1513" data-section-id="5g7ttj" data-start="1484"><u><span style="font-size:12px;"><span role="text"><strong data-end="1511" data-start="1488">General Job Duties:</strong></span></span></u></h3> <ul data-end="2560" data-start="1514"> <li data-end="1634" data-section-id="iqc3ej" data-start="1514">Lead all aspects of preconstruction and bid processes to strengthen portfolio performance and mitigate project risks</li> <li data-end="1692" data-section-id="qpp2vu" data-start="1635">Manage and achieve portfolio sales and profit targets</li> <li data-end="1781" data-section-id="11wxql2" data-start="1693">Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, EPCs, and trade partners</li> <li data-end="1874" data-section-id="o4v11w" data-start="1782">Analyze client goals, requirements, risks, and specifications to support project success</li> <li data-end="1938" data-section-id="p3pi1n" data-start="1875">Develop portfolio strategy in collaboration with leadership</li> <li data-end="2039" data-section-id="1jrklbv" data-start="1939">Ensure seamless project handoff with clear documentation of scope, pricing, risks, and schedules</li> <li data-end="2141" data-section-id="1jx30ak" data-start="2040">Lead proposal development including scope narratives, technical solutions, and pricing strategies</li> <li data-end="2242" data-section-id="15zunbo" data-start="2142">Coordinate with estimating, solution architects, and delivery teams to define project approaches</li> <li data-end="2315" data-section-id="jdek67" data-start="2243">Conduct bid reviews, client presentations, and contract negotiations</li> <li data-end="2369" data-section-id="110x7b7" data-start="2316">Track opportunities and pipeline within CRM tools</li> <li data-end="2441" data-section-id="136r15r" data-start="2370">Participate in industry events, client workshops, and presentations</li> <li data-end="2560" data-section-id="1yitm1x" data-start="2442">Support contract risk mitigation and ensure compliance with bid requirements</li> <li data-end="2560" data-section-id="1yitm1x" data-start="2442">Travel up to 35%</li> </ul> <div> <h3 data-end="2617" data-section-id="ghtjxa" data-start="2567"><u><span style="font-size:12px;"><span role="text"><strong data-end="2615" data-start="2571">Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:</strong></span></span></u></h3> <h3 data-end="2617" data-section-id="ghtjxa" data-start="2567"><strong data-end="2632" data-start="2619" style="font-size: 12px;">Required:</strong></h3> <ul data-end="2997" data-start="2635"> <li data-end="2734" data-section-id="j6a79c" data-start="2635">Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field</li> <li data-end="2863" data-section-id="16vsybq" data-start="2735">5–10 years of experience in preconstruction, project management, or estimating (industrial or building automation preferred)</li> <li data-end="2938" data-section-id="17xc18o" data-start="2864">Proven experience leading bid processes and managing complex proposals</li> <li data-end="2997" data-section-id="7b6r7t" data-start="2939">Strong ability to navigate and win sales opportunities</li> <li data-end="3100" data-section-id="199r2bx" data-start="3024">Expertise in proposal development, cost estimating, and scope definition</li> <li data-end="3181" data-section-id="t42cde" data-start="3101">Strong financial acumen (pricing strategy, margins, competitive positioning)</li> <li data-end="3253" data-section-id="3wc01x" data-start="3182">Excellent interpersonal, client management, and presentation skills</li> <li data-end="3349" data-section-id="kl7tbk" data-start="3254">High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and estimating tools</li> <li data-end="3413" data-section-id="1096q3w" data-start="3350">Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li> <li data-end="3481" data-section-id="1tjztue" data-start="3414">Ability to evaluate technical solutions and project feasibility</li> </ul> <p data-end="3499" data-start="3483"><strong data-end="3497" data-start="3483">Preferred:</strong></p> <ul data-end="3771" data-start="3500"> <li data-end="3584" data-section-id="ebta6r" data-start="3500">Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), PLCs, SCADA, or HMI platforms</li> <li data-end="3646" data-section-id="2oxmnn" data-start="3585">Familiarity with mission-critical facility infrastructure</li> <li data-end="3771" data-section-id="9rz6a" data-start="3647">Experience leveraging AI or automation tools in estimating or proposal development</li> </ul> <div>The target annual base compensation for this position is $100,000 -
