About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Ontario‑licensed Paralegal with a proven track record in landlord‑side tenancy disputes to join our growing practice. This is an in‑person role based in the GTA and is ideal for a paralegal who is confident managing files independently and representing landlords at hearings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage landlord‑side tenancy dispute files from intake to resolution
- Prepare, file, and serve applications, motions, and supporting evidence
- Conduct hearings, mediations, and case conferences
- Communicate directly with landlord clients, tenants, and tribunal staff
- Provide practical, strategic advice based on Ontario landlord‑tenant law
- Maintain organized, compliant files in accordance with LSO requirements
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Demonstrated, hands‑on experience acting for landlords in tenancy disputes
- Strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and tribunal procedures
- Proven ability to conduct hearings independently
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Highly organised and comfortable handling a high volume of files
- Ability and willingness to work in person in the GTA
Nice to Have
- Experience representing landlords exclusively
- Familiarity with eviction, arrears, N‑applications, T‑applications, and motions to set aside
- Experience working in a small or fast‑growing practice
