Overview

Seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale data, analytics, and AI solutions using Palantir Foundry. This role combines hands-on engineering, solution architecture, customer engagement, and technical leadership to deliver high-impact operational and data-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Engineering

  • Design, build, and deploy end-to-end data integration pipelines using Palantir Foundry.
  • Develop scalable data transformations using Python, SQL, PySpark, Pandas, Polars, DuckDB, and Java.
  • Architect and maintain Foundry Ontology components, including Object Types, Link Types, Action Types, Interfaces, and Functions.
  • Build and deploy Workshop applications, OSDK-based applications, and custom operational workflows.
  • Develop server-side business logic using TypeScript and Python Functions.
  • Implement enterprise data governance, security controls, permissions, restricted views, and role-based access management.
  • Design and deploy AI-powered solutions including AIP Logic, AIP Agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM-enabled workflows.

 

Deployment & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary technical lead for complex customer engagements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions.
  • Own projects through architecture, development, testing, deployment, and operationalization.
  • Drive user adoption by delivering reliable, production-grade solutions.
  • Collaborate with executives, business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams.

Technical Leadership

  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture guidance, and best practices.
  • Establish standards for branching strategies, CI/CD, testing, and pipeline design.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and technical enablement sessions.
  • Contribute to platform innovation, internal tooling, and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Foundry Ontology, data pipelines, and application development.
  • Experience building production-scale batch and streaming data solutions.
  • Experience with Workshop and/or OSDK application development.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and IAM.
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms, LLM-powered applications, RAG architectures, and model deployment.
  • Knowledge of data governance, ABAC, HIPAA-compliant environments, and enterprise security frameworks.
  • Experience leading teams of 3+ engineers.
  • Healthcare, clinical operations, or revenue cycle experience preferred.
