Ordinary Seaman (Os ) Required for a U.S. Passenger Cruise Ship

**Position:** Ordinary Seaman (OS ) **Date of Joining:** 15 Aug 2026 **Port Of Joining:** Detroit **Contract Duration:** 3 months +/-1 **Wages:** USD 1384 **Requirements:** USA C1D visa. English speaking Well . - Responsibilities and Accountabilities: - Assist the Bosun and Able Seamen with daily deck operations and maintenance.; \* Perform cleaning, painting, chipping, scraping, and general upkeep of deck areas and equipment.; \* Assist with mooring, unmooring, anchoring, and other deck operations as assigned.; \* Stand bridge lookout and navigational watches when required.; \* Participate in emergency drills and carry out assigned emergency duties.; \* Follow all company safety, environmental, and security procedures.; \* Report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to the Bosun or Officer on Watch.; \* Actively promote a safe working environment and comply with company policies and procedures.; - Preferred Qualifications: - VISA C1/D Required; \* Previous experience as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) or Deck Rating is preferred.; \* Holds appropriate maritime licenses and certificates as required by regulations.; \* Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificates.; \* Seafarer's Book and valid Passport.; \* Must be in possession of a valid, MLC-compliant medical certificate.; \* Has full knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the company's IMS related to his/her position.; \* Has a full knowledge and understanding of his/her emergency duties and the Safety Organization according to the Emergency Plan and Station Bill.; \* Needs to be up to date with all necessary certifications, including but not limited to STCW and MLC requirements.; \* Good command of the English language.; \* Physically fit and able to perform manual deck duties in all weather conditions.; \* Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to learn.; Work for this prestigious cruise line.
