Location: Derby, KS Status: Full‑Time Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM -- 8:00 PM, seven days a week Compensation: $60--$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus Benefits: Full-benefits package available Position Summary We are seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our team in Derby, KS. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting</li><li>Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits</li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging</li><li>Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)</li><li>Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions</li><li>Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR</li><li>Code and bill services appropriately</li><li>Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks</li><li>Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values </li></ul>Required Qualifications <ul><li>Active, unrestricted KS license for NP | PA</li><li>Board certification or eligibility, as applicable</li><ul><li>PA: NCCPA certification</li><li>NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)</li></ul><li>Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)</li><li>Ability to treat patients of all ages</li><li>Active BLS certification</li><li>EHR proficiency</li><li>Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays</li><li>DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience</li><li>Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)</li><li>Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read </li></ul>About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, serving communities with accessible, affordable, high‑quality care across 160+ locations in 11 states.
