Long-Term Acute Care Hospitalist
Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, is seeking a Long-Term Acute Care Hospitalist to join its team in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves providing inpatient care at the new RUSH Specialty Hospital, a 100-bed facility focused on critical illness recovery and inpatient rehabilitation. The position offers a competitive market base salary and opportunities for teaching, administrative, and leadership development within a division comprised of over 70 faculty members.
Practice Info
- Practice alongside 4-8 LTACH physicians and three LTACH APPs
- Work closely with Pulmonary Critical Care and Physical Medicine and Rehab physicians
- 100% inpatient Long-Term Acute Care patients

Compensation
- Competitive market base salary
- Pay Range: $290,000 - $360,000
- Total compensation includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs
- Total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee
- Includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role
- Includes additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances
- Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets
