Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and unrestricted RN license in Georgia
- Previous experience in an ICU or critical care environment
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention for complex patient needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with both licensed and unlicensed staff
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive and individualized care to critically ill patients and their families
- Actively participate in coordination and implementation of safe patient care as directed by clinical leadership
- Adhere to professional nursing standards, the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, and the American Nurses Association Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics
- Support and contribute to the goals of service excellence and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in shared governance models and evidence-based practice to ensure highest levels of safety and care delivery
