<p><strong>Job Overview </strong></p><p>The Front End Developer contributes to the development and maintenance of critical back-office tools, game-loading infrastructure, and supporting web applications within our iGaming platform. This role is ideal for a developer early in their career who wants to grow their skills in modern Front-End development while working alongside senior engineers on both modern and legacy stacks. The Front-End Developer works under the guidance of senior team members, participates in code reviews, and steadily takes on increasing ownership of features and bug fixes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of our modern React/TypeScript-based back-office application, built on the Mantine component library.</li><li>Assist with bug fixes and minor enhancements in our legacy AngularJS back-office application under senior developer guidance.</li><li>Support development of the game-loader web application, which loads and initializes games, facilitates communication between games and third-party gaming operators, and interfaces with backend servers via REST and WebSocket protocols.</li><li>Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews, incorporating feedback to grow as a developer.</li><li>Follow established Front End coding standards and contribute to a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Debug and resolve assigned issues using modern tools and techniques, escalating complex problems when appropriate.</li><li>Collaborate with product managers, QA, and back end developers to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions for real-money gaming environments.</li><li>Learn and follow build and deployment practices across multiple environments (development, QA, production).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p><ul><li>0–2 years of professional Front End development experience (internships, co-ops, bootcamp projects, or substantial personal projects count).</li><li>Working knowledge of React and TypeScript, with a demonstrated ability to build components and features.</li><li>Solid foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS fundamentals.</li><li>Basic understanding of consuming RESTful APIs; exposure to Web Sockets is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with component-based UI design and an eagerness to learn state management patterns.</li><li>Exposure to Front End testing (React Testing Library, Jest) or a willingness to learn testing practices.</li><li>Attention to detail and a careful, methodical approach — important in a regulated, real-money gaming environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a collaborative, coachable mindset.</li><li>Willingness to work in and learn from legacy codebases (AngularJS) as well as modern stacks.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice to Have Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with SCSS (Sass), Lodash, Axios, or other widely used Front End libraries.</li><li>Exposure to build tooling (ESLint, Webpack, Vite) and version control workflows (Git).</li><li>Interest in the iGaming or gaming.</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD concepts or multi-environment deployment workflows.</li><li>Contributions to open-source projects, a public GitHub portfolio, or personal projects that demonstrate curiosity and initiative.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Note: All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check</strong></p><p><strong>*Posted positions are not open to third party recruiters and unsolicited resume submissions will be considered free referrals.</strong></p><p><strong>AGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p>
