Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to complex business problems in supply chain management, logistics, and retail operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions that drive business success
  • Use operations research techniques, such as linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and metaheuristics, to optimize business processes and improve efficiency
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data models and algorithms to analyze complex data sets and drive business insights
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and operations research, and apply this knowledge to drive business innovation

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience with operations research techniques, such as linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and metaheuristics
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, and experience with data science libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
  • Experience with data querying and analysis using SQL
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain management, logistics, or retail operations
  • Proven ability to develop and implement large-scale data models and algorithms
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as GCP or Azure
  • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, such as clustering, SVM, random forests, and support vector machines
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
