Job Summary and Responsibilities Acentra seeks a Developer, Senior to join our growing team. Job Summary: The Developer, Senior is responsible for designing, enhancing, and supporting complex enterprise applications across a diverse technology stack, including legacy .NET applications, modern .NET Core microservices, Angular-based front ends, and distributed job processing systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting and production support skills, collaboration with infrastructure teams in cloud environments, and a focus on improving performance, reliability, and maintainability while supporting ongoing modernization efforts. *Position is remote Job Responsibilities:<ul type="disc"><li>Lead the design, development, troubleshooting, and enhancement of enterprise .NET applications, including a large monolithic .NET application, legacy ASPX applications, and .NET Core–based microservices</li><li>Provide advanced production support, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution across web, mobile, distributed jobs, and cloud-hosted environments</li><li>Drive modernization, performance, and reliability improvements while maintaining stability across legacy and modern technology stacks</li><li>Design and develop scalable full-stack solutions using C#, .NET/.NET Core, Angular, and related frameworks</li><li>Possess working knowledge of AWS services to effectively troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with the infrastructure team during deployments and production incidents</li><li>Develop and optimize distributed background jobs and integrations, ensuring reliability and fault tolerance</li><li>Implement and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines, supporting automated builds, deployments, and release management</li><li>Design, query, and optimize data solutions using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and data modeling</li><li>Collaborate with QA, operations, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, resilient, and supportable solutions</li></ul>The list of responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other education- and experience-related duties that management may deem necessary from time to time. Qualifications Required Qualifications/Experience: <ul type="disc"><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field </li><li>6+ years of software development experience </li><li>Strong experience with .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, legacy ASPX applications, Entity Framework and .NET Core</li><li>Proven experience developing full-stack applications, including front-end frameworks such as Angular</li><li>Hands-on experience supporting applications throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and release processes (Azure DevOps or similar tools)</li><li>Solid knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with experience in query optimization and performance tuning</li><li>Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS) sufficient to troubleshoot application and deployment issues in collaboration with infrastructure teams</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications/Experience:<ul type="disc"><li>Experience supporting and modernizing large-scale legacy applications while transitioning to microservices-based architectures</li><li>Prior experience with production support, incident management, and root cause analysis in complex, distributed systems</li><li>Familiarity with healthcare, claims, or prior authorization systems and related regulatory environments</li></ul>Why us?
