Customer Service Advisor

Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 + bonus opportunities

Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are supporting a UK-based energy and utilities provider that is expanding its remote customer support team as part of a large-scale recruitment drive.

Due to continued growth and an increase in customer demand, they are looking to hire multiple Customer Service Advisors to join their fully remote contact centre operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a structured environment, and is looking for a stable, long-term role.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling a mix of inbound calls and written queries, and helping resolve a range of day-to-day account enquiries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering inbound calls from customers regarding accounts, billing, and general enquiries
  • Responding to customer emails and online queries in a timely manner
  • Updating customer records and logging interactions accurately
  • Resolving issues or escalating more complex cases where needed
  • Following internal processes and compliance guidelines
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service across all interactions

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and queries
  • Good attention to detail when updating systems
  • Able to follow processes and work to targets
  • A calm, professional approach when dealing with customers

Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or call centres is helpful but not essential.
