Construction Superintendent-Commercial only - Central Florida

You will manage, oversee and direct all aspects of jobsite construction from start to finish of project. Responsibilities include: Ability to read and interpret blueprints (you will be tested); Ability to motivate subcontractors and verify correctness and quality of work; Coordination of subcontractors, material and equipment deliveries; Preparation of reports as needed; conduct on site meetings with inspectors, subcontractors and others; Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed. Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience including ground up building - not residential
- Must be jobsite safety oriented and have minimum OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to work well with subcontractors and owner representatives
- Must be a creative thinker with the ability to solve problems
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Must be familiar with Central Florida building codes and inspection requirements
- Must be able to utitlize mobile technology
- Willingness and ability to work with construction tools and equipment as necessary
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Willing and able to work nights and weekends if required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Degree in Construction Management or other construction related field is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and technology skills are required.
