Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a high-caliber Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its elite cardiology team.   • Join an established team of 6 physicians and 11 APPs
  • Practice setting: Outpatient/Inpatient
  • Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system
  • Located at a 421-bed hospital
  • The facility is a Level I trauma center
  • Serving a population of approximately 650,000

  • Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care

Compensation

  • CME allowance: $1,500
  • Malpractice coverage provided
  • Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • No Weekday Call
  • 1:8 weekends

Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred
  • Master's degree of Nursing required
  • No visa sponsorship available
