Assistant Actuary - Model Development

Seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Assistant Actuary - Model Development, the full-time position will focus on Prophet model development and testing, ensuring high-quality models that support business decisions while working in a hybrid or remote environment. Key responsibilities: Develop and test Prophet models for various product types, adhering to Model Risk Management policies Collaborate with stakeholders to understand model changes, prioritize requests, and assist in model acceptance Manage large-scale development initiatives and document processes and decisions made during model development Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field 3-5+ years of relevant experience in actuarial model development Proficiency in FIS Prophet actuarial system for asset and liability projection modeling Advanced knowledge of insurance products, actuarial theory, and industry regulations Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation is preferred
