This is a remote position. Philippine-based Filipino applicants. IMPORTANT: A Technical Test is required before proceeding to the final stage. We're looking for someone with genuine hunger to build AI-powered automation and workflows across a dynamic, multi-brand Australian business. The role is focused on building AI-powered automations and workflows that reduce manual work, improve operational efficiency, and free up founder time. You'll work closely with two founders who love AI and automation but don't have time to build it all themselves. They want to learn from you as you build, see outcomes in real time, and then brief you on the next efficiency to tackle. This is not a traditional VA or tech role. You'll be identifying repetitive tasks, building automated workflows to eliminate them, testing what works, iterating when it doesn't, and then documenting it so the founders can see the impact and learn alongside you. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Identify repetitive, manual, and inefficient processes across multiple businesses </li> <li>Build AI-powered automations and workflows to streamline operations </li> <li>Connect systems, tools, and data to reduce manual handoffs </li> <li>Test, refine, and improve workflows in safe environments </li> <li>Document automations and clearly explain them to the founders </li> <li>Proactively recommend and implement efficiency improvements </li> </ul> Examples of workflows you'd create and manage: <ul> <li>Weekly Meta Ads reporting: scheduled AI agent pulls raw data, creates a 7-day report, exports data, and automatically inputs it into a master spreadsheet in OneDrive. </li> <li>Email triage and management: build automated routing, flagging, and follow-up systems to reduce manual inbox overhead. </li> <li>Client conversation to proposal: take recorded conversations with clients and build them into tailored proposals from template. </li> <li>Property data automation: scrape online real estate data to develop accurate property appraisals and comparisons. </li> <li>Social media content engine: use a library of meeting recordings and public event footage to synthesize messaging, key topics, and pain points, then feed that into content creation workflows. </li> <li>AI conversation to action: build a system where the founders can converse with an AI platform and have that automatically convert into action items in your task management system. </li> </ul> What Success Looks Like: Within the first month: You've built and deployed multiple (4+) working automations that save time. You're not waiting to be told what to automate, you're spotting inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and shipping them. Within 3 months: Founders are experiencing significant time savings across multiple businesses and life. You're the one identifying opportunities, pitching approaches, and driving implementation. We're learning from what you've built, not the other way around. Ongoing: You're embedded enough that you naturally see friction points before we do. You propose solutions, build them, we see the impact, and you move to the next one. You're proactive, not reactive. You're watching the AI and automation landscape. You test emerging tools, stay current with updates, and advise us on what tech and platforms are worth investing in to scale our efficiencies. You're our strategic eyes on what's possible. <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>Experience in tech and/or IT, operations, automation, or a related field </li> <li>Hands-on experience in AI, automation, and workflow building </li> <li>Technical Foundations & Safety Awareness. You should have basic familiarity with core automation concepts: APIs, webhooks, and sandboxes. More importantly, you understand why sandboxes matter, how to keep API keys secure, and the difference between testing in a test environment versus your live business data. </li> <li>Ability to build, test, and iterate workflows independently </li> <li>Must have understanding and awareness of the different levels of risk and security measures to put in place during the process of testing and implementing AI automations </li> <li>Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership of outcomes </li> <li>Clear communication skills (able to explain technical concepts simply) </li> <li>Comfortable working remotely and managing work independently </li> <li>Keep an eye on new tools, updates, and AI capabilities </li> <li>Hunger to learn, build, and experiment </li> </ul> Nice to Have / Preferred: <ul> <li>Experience with workflow automation and AI agentic tools (Zapier, Make, Claude Code, Cowork, Gumloop, n8n, GPT-5.5) </li> <li>Coding or 'vibe coding' experience (understanding how code works without needing to write it professionally) </li> <li>Data experience (working with APIs, data consolidation, spreadsheet workflows). </li> <li>Operations or administrative background (useful but not required) </li> </ul> Work Environment & Expectations While this is a work-from-home position, it is important to note that this is a full-time role—not a freelance or flexible-hour arrangement.
